Our vision
Is of an inclusive, safe and welcoming sanctuary for all LGBTQ+ asylum seekers and refugees, bearing in mind that these people are often shunned by British society as asylum seekers, but also wary of making contact with people from their own countries, because of their experience of homophobia there.
Our values
We seek to build a group based on mutual respect, care and trust; all are treated as equals; recognising the different circumstances that bring them to the group, we value these different experiences, and celebrate what each individual brings to the group.
Our mission
Is to build a supportive network to empower members and enable them to make the most of their potential; to establish connections with and collaborat with each other and with various groups. To be advocates for them when the face the Home Office interviews; to be aware of problems facing individuals from time to time, and offer them additional support at these times.
